The Kingdom of God is advancing

I had a vision in which the Lord Jesus and I were standing at a window in an upstairs room inside a palace. As I looked outside the window, everything seemed very dark and then light began to flow from where we were standing. The light, like liquid gold, flowed outside and everything it touched turned golden. As it moved farther and farther out, I saw many buildings previously not visible because of the darkness transformed in an instant and this carried on as far as the eye could see. As I watched this scene play out before me, I heard, “The Kingdom of God is advancing.”

Jesus is the light

“The light shines in the darkness and the darkness can never extinguish it.” John 1:5

Jesus is the light that the world needs. When we lift Him up, He will draw all to Himself. As we return our focus and affection to Jesus, the Saviour of the world, the King of kings and Lord of lords, we will gain heaven’s perspective. Yes, things may seem dark in the world, but Jesus is still on the throne. I see the church rising up and advancing in might and glory. We are stepping into a time of a magnificent move of the power of God demonstrated through the body of Christ, the church, as we fix our gaze on Jesus.

One King, One Lord, One Government

I had a dream a few weeks ago where the Lord told me the nations of the world would see the glory of God and nations that have risen in pride and arrogance would be brought low. There would be one King - JESUS, one Lord- JESUS, and one Government – the government of Jesus.

No matter what our world may look like right now, be encouraged, Jesus Christ is still Lord. He has no rival, no equal, no comparison. He is Lord and He reigns victorious.

“Of the greatness (increase) of his government and of peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with Justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.” Isaiah 9:7
